Spilt Milk Geelong runs from 12pm to 11pm on Saturday 19 December 2026 at the Kardinia Park Precinct, and it is strictly 18+: without valid government-issued photo ID you will not get through the gate. The festival has not yet released set times, a site map or event-day transport plans, so this guide covers what is already official and lists what is still to come.
The details below come from the Spilt Milk Geelong page, the festival’s FAQs, its Getting to Geelong and coach pages, and the stadium’s event page, all read on 29 October 2026. We will update this page when the organisers publish more.
What time is Spilt Milk Geelong, and who is playing?
The Geelong date is Saturday 19 December 2026, 12pm to 11pm. The festival’s FAQ lists the four 2026 dates side by side, and Geelong is the third:
| City | Date | Hours | Venue |
|---|---|---|---|
| Canberra | Saturday 12 December | 12pm to 11pm | Exhibition Park, Mitchell ACT |
| Gold Coast | Sunday 13 December | 11:30am to 10:30pm | Gold Coast Sports Precinct, Carrara QLD |
| Geelong | Saturday 19 December | 12pm to 11pm | Kardinia Park Precinct, Geelong VIC |
| Perth | Sunday 20 December | 11am to 10pm | Claremont Showground, Claremont WA |
The stadium’s event page describes Spilt Milk as Australia’s largest regional touring music festival and says the 2026 festival will feature Lewis Capaldi, RAYE and Maisie Peters. The festival’s home page lists nine acts for 2026 without splitting them by city: Lewis Capaldi, RAYE, KETTAMA, Baby Keem, Maisie Peters, Remi Wolf, DMA’S, STÜM and Tobiahs. Visit Geelong and The Bellarine’s lineup post names more acts after those nine, including Aleksiah, Becca Hatch, Borderline, F3MIII, Fat Papi, Harry Hayes, Jigitz, Leyla Ebrahimi, Miss Kaninna, Pash, Samara Cyn, The Moving Stills, The Terrys and Yes Boone. Check the Geelong page for the final bill before you plan your day around one act.

The festival says set times and the event map for each city “will be available closer to the event date”. Until they appear, you cannot tell how the day is split between stages. The accessibility information names two stages, Angove and Basquiat, both with elevated viewing areas.
Can I drive and park at Spilt Milk Geelong?
The festival has not said. Neither the Spilt Milk Geelong page nor the stadium’s event page gives parking instructions yet, and the organiser’s accessible parking line reads: “We are working on our accessible parking and drop-off/pick-up options available for patrons and will have more information soon.”
The stadium’s Getting Here page says free parking across the Kardinia Park precinct applies on non-major event days only, and for major event days it points to the event-specific information. For the AFLW match on 30 October and the AUSX Open on 7 November, the stadium’s pages say there is no general public parking at events. Do not assume the same rule or its opposite for Spilt Milk until the festival publishes it. Our GMHBA Stadium getting there guide covers the driving route and gates, and the Geelong central parking guide covers paid parking in the city centre.

How do I get there by train?
From Melbourne, the festival recommends the train. Its Getting to Geelong page says Southern Cross Station has frequent trains to Geelong, the trip takes about an hour, and South Geelong Station is “right next to Kardinia Park and the best place to get off for Spilt Milk”. The stadium’s venue pages put South Geelong Station 450 metres east of the stadium, and Geelong Station 1.8 kilometres to the north.
For regional Victoria, the festival says V/Line runs between most regional towns and Geelong. V/Line’s service changes page, checked on 29 October 2026, shows no planned service changes and no additional services on the Geelong and Warrnambool lines. That can change, and the festival says it is working with local transport authorities on event-day plans. The Geelong line timetable and fare basics are in our Melbourne to Geelong train guide.

The festival closes at 11pm. Look up the last train from South Geelong to your station before you go, because no extra late services have been announced.
Are there coaches to Spilt Milk Geelong?
Yes. The festival says MOTM Events will run coaches to Geelong and back on the day, that your ticket guarantees a return seat, and that you should book in advance. The coach page says pre-booking is essential because spots are limited. These are the return pick-up locations listed so far:
| Area | Pick-up locations listed |
|---|---|
| Melbourne and west | Melbourne, Werribee, Sunbury, Melton, Caroline Springs |
| Melbourne south and east | Cranbourne, Mordialloc, Frankston, Ringwood |
| Regional Victoria | Ballarat, Bendigo, Warrnambool |
| Geelong and the Bellarine | Portarlington, Drysdale, Leopold, Ocean Grove, Barwon Heads, Armstrong Creek |
Prices and exact pick-up points are not published; the page says more information will be on the MOTM Events website soon. If you live on the Bellarine or in Armstrong Creek, check whether your suburb is on the list before you plan a lift.

What taxi and drop-off options are there?
The Spilt Milk pages do not describe a taxi rank or ride-share zone. The stadium’s Getting Here page says a taxi rank will be on Verner Street at the end of an event, and that taxis can be booked on 13 10 08. That page describes the stadium’s events in general, so treat it as a guide to the area and wait for the festival’s own transport plan. The organiser has not published drop-off arrangements.
What ID do I need?
Spilt Milk is strictly 18+. The FAQ says to bring a valid and current government-issued ID, and not a photo, screenshot, photocopy or illustration of one. Accepted physical IDs include a driver’s licence, a government-issued passport and an Australian government-issued proof of age card. If digital ID is accepted in the state you are attending, you can use that instead. Without valid ID, the FAQ says, “you’ll be left on the wrong side of the Spilt Milk fence”.
What can I bring in?
The festival lists what to bring, and the list is short:
- 18+ photo ID.
- A credit card, debit card or phone wallet: every bar and food truck is tap-and-go only, because the festival is cashless.
- A reusable plastic water bottle, completely empty at the gate, to fill at the free water stations.
- A bag no larger than 20cm x 30cm, about the size of an A4 sheet.
- Sealed food for your own consumption.
- Skincare or make-up in small plastic containers, 110ml or less.
- A phone or a small digital or film camera.
- Sanitary items. First aid also holds free supplies on site.
Metal water bottles, glass, aerosol cans and liquids or creams over 110mL are banned, and glass or oversize liquids are disposed of at the front gate. The banned list also includes alcohol not bought at the event, illegal substances, weapons, professional cameras and any video or audio recording device including GoPros and drones, flags and flagpoles, banners and signs, umbrellas, selfie sticks, noise-making devices and musical instruments, laser pointers, scooters, skateboards and bicycles (mobility aids excepted), flares and fireworks, and high-visibility vests or anything that could be mistaken for a staff uniform. The festival suggests a plastic poncho or raincoat instead of an umbrella.

Can I leave and come back in?
No. The FAQ says there are strictly no pass-outs: “Once you’re in, you’re in!” Plan your food, charging and any medication before you enter. The FAQ bans unidentifiable or unsealed medication and says all medication must be inspected by qualified medical staff through the accessibility lane. The festival says it will have a cloakroom and will say closer to the day whether lockers are available.
Who sells the tickets, and what about resale?
Moshtix and Tixel are the official ticketing outlets for Spilt Milk 2026. You can buy up to 10 tickets at a time, tickets can be downloaded for scanning on your phone, and the festival sends them out closer to the date to limit fake tickets. Selling through other sites, including Viagogo, Facebook, Gumtree and eBay, goes against the ticket terms, and staff cannot accept tickets they cannot validate.
- Resale: use the Moshtix resale tool or Tixel, then the Moshtix Assign feature to transfer the ticket. PDF tickets are not available.
- Ticket return: only possible once your location is sold out.
- Companion Card: a National Companion Card holder who buys a general admission ticket gets a free ticket for a companion or carer, arranged through the Moshtix help form.
- Mobtix: discounted general admission tickets for people who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander, in limited supply, on a first-come basis.
Ticket prices are not repeated here because the Geelong page does not state them; use Moshtix for the current price.
What access support is available?
The festival says Geelong’s venue is mostly hardstand and paved paths, with some stages on large grassed areas that bad weather can affect. It lists a quiet space with a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower lanyard or Quiet Space wristband, assistance animals (let the festival know in advance), accessible bathrooms marked on the event map, and elevated viewing areas at the Angove and Basquiat stages for people in wheelchairs or with permanent or severe mobility impairments and one companion. Space in those areas is limited and cannot be held. For these services, complete the Spilt Milk Accessibility Request Form, or email accessibility@spilt-milk.com.au.
What else is on site?
The festival lists shade, sunscreen from first aid or the info tent, bathrooms, free water stations, bars for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, food vendors and market stalls. Lost property is at the info tent, and uncollected items go to police the next day. Smoking is allowed only in designated areas. Official after parties are planned in each city, with details to come on the festival’s social channels.
