Groundwater Country Music Festival 2026: Broadbeach Road Closures, Parking and Getting There (16–18 October, QLD)

Surf Parade in Broadbeach closes to traffic from 6:30am Thursday 15 October until 1pm Monday 19 October for the free Groundwater Country Music Festival, which runs from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 October. The easiest way in is the G:link tram to Broadbeach North, but if you come by train from Brisbane that weekend, note that Gold Coast line trains are replaced by buses.

G:link Trams Replaced by Buses After 7:30pm Between Helensvale and GCUH, Sunday to Thursday Until 22 October (Gold Coast, QLD)

From 7:30pm until the last service on Sunday to Thursday nights this fortnight, buses replace G:link trams between Helensvale and Gold Coast University Hospital stations. The October dates are Sunday 11 to Thursday 15 October and Sunday 18 to Thursday 22 October, and trams run normally again from the first service each morning.
