For Foo Fighters at Queensland Country Bank Stadium on Saturday 7 November 2026, gates open at 4:00pm and the show starts at 5:30pm, with the first act on stage then. Lowths Bridge closes at 2:00pm, box offices open at 3:30pm and the free park and ride shuttle from Lou Litster Park starts at 3:45pm. You cannot bring a drink bottle into the venue.
Update on Saturday 7 November: the stadium has changed its times since this guide was first published on 27 October. It then listed gates at 5:30pm and show start at 7:00pm, with the bridge closing at 3:00pm. Its event page now says gates 4:00pm, show 5:30pm and bridge 2:00pm, and the City of Townsville’s What’s On listing gives 5:30pm to 10:30pm. Translink now has its own event page that matches the stadium’s gate and show times.
This is the band’s first visit to Townsville, according to the Stadiums Queensland media release of 18 February 2026. The stadium’s event page lists Full Flower Moon Band and Downgirl as the Townsville support acts, and the council lists them as Full Flower Moon Band (Brisbane) and Downgirl (Sydney). Townsville is on Queensland time (UTC+10, no daylight saving), so all times below are Queensland time.
What time do I need to be there?
| Time | What happens |
|---|---|
| 12:00pm | Earliest the stadium wants you at the venue; there is no early entry |
| 2:00pm | Lowths Bridge closes; external merchandise opens at Gates A and E |
| 3:30pm | Ticket box offices open |
| 3:45pm | Park and ride shuttle starts from Lou Litster Park |
| 4:00pm | Gates open |
| 4:40pm | Special event buses commence |
| 5:30pm | Show starts: Full Flower Moon Band, Downgirl, then Foo Fighters |
| 10:30pm | End of show |
| 11:30pm | Venue closed |
The stadium’s page says “Please do not arrive at the venue before 12pm” and that there is no early entry. It lists the three acts in the order Full Flower Moon Band, Downgirl, Foo Fighters, but gives no set times for each, so the 5:30pm start is when the first act takes the stage. It lists special event buses twice, once at 4:40pm and once after the show, and the time beside the second line is blank. Translink’s own page, below, gives running times for the after-show buses. The stadium also tells fans to arrive early and to know their gate: enter by the gate printed on your ticket.

Can I park at the stadium?
Not reliably. The stadium’s parking page says it has limited event-day parking on site. The stadium’s concert page now says accessible parking applications are exhausted (on 27 October it said they would open at 8am on Monday 2 November), and Translink says on-site accessible spaces can be pre-booked by contacting stadium management directly. The day-to-day car park off Pride Close is private.
Dean Street Carpark is where drivers often look next. The City of Townsville’s stadium event parking page says it is closed from 2pm on event days and that vehicles must be removed before 2pm or risk being towed at the owner’s expense. The stadium’s parking page calls the same car park free all day, but that line sits in its function parking section. On 7 November, go by the council’s notice. The council does not say that Foo Fighters is covered by name, so check the signs at the car park on the day.
On-street parking in the Stadium Event Restricted Parking Areas is regulated from one hour before until one hour after the advertised start time of an event at the stadium, with fines for staying longer than the permitted time without a registered permit. The restriction covers on-street parking and driveways from the kerb to the property boundary. The council’s map of the restricted area is a PDF linked from its page.
| Option | What the official pages say |
|---|---|
| Lou Litster Park | Free park and ride shuttle; enter from Charters Towers Road onto Brodie Street |
| Dean Street Carpark | Closed from 2pm on event days (council) |
| On-site spaces | Limited; accessible spaces by application to stadium management |
| Surrounding streets | Event parking rules apply, with fines for overstaying |
How does the free shuttle work?
The stadium says the park and ride shuttle starts at 3:45pm from Lou Litster Park. Translink’s event page gives the running windows: before the show from 3:45pm until 7:30pm, and after the show from 10pm until 11:30pm. The stadium’s getting-here page says the park is reached from Charters Towers Road onto Brodie Street, and that the stadium drop-off and pick-up is about 150m from Gate D. Translink says the shuttles leave from the stadium bus stops near Gate C.

Can I walk, and what about Lowths Bridge?
Yes. The stadium calls walking the best way to get to the venue. The council says Lowths Bridge on Stanley Street is closed before and during events because of pedestrian traffic, and the stadium now lists the closure for this concert at 2:00pm (it said 3:00pm on 27 October). The stadium names three walking routes into the precinct:
- Lowths Bridge, about 250m to Gate A.
- Victoria Street Bridge onto the Central Park Boardwalk, about 700m to Gate A.
- Little Fletcher Pedestrian Bridge, about 600m to Gate E.
What about buses, taxis and rideshare?
Translink’s event page for this concert says scheduled Sunbus services run as normal, with the Townsville City bus hub on Ogden Street about 550m from the stadium. It adds that you need a paper ticket to travel, and that late-night regular services are limited, so plan your trip home before you leave. Special event buses arrive and depart from Saunders Street next to Central Park, about 380m from the main stadium gates.
| Special event service | Before the show | After the show |
|---|---|---|
| Breakwater Ferry Terminal (Magnetic Island ferry) | 4pm until 7pm | 10pm until 11pm |
| Magnetic Island bus (Arcadia, Nelly Bay, Horseshoe Bay) | Not listed | 11:15pm until midnight |
| Northern Beach (Bushland Beach) | Leaves Mount Low Parkway at Peggy Banfield Park 4:05pm, 4:50pm, 5:35pm, 6:20pm; Erskine Place North Shore 4:20pm, 5:05pm, 5:50pm, 6:35pm; arrives at the stadium 4:45pm, 5:30pm, 6:15pm, 7pm | Runs for 90 minutes after the show finishes |
| Willows Shopping Centre | Leaves Willows 4:35pm, 4:55pm, 5:25pm, 5:45pm, 6:05pm, 6:25pm, 6:45pm; arrives at the stadium 5:01pm, 5:21pm, 5:51pm, 6:01pm, 6:31pm, 6:51pm, 7:11pm | Runs for 90 minutes after the show finishes |
| Lou Litster Park ‘n’ ride | 3:45pm until 7:30pm | 10pm until 11:30pm |
Translink also lists Willows stops at Thuringowa Drive at Charles Street (4:39pm, 4:59pm, 5:29pm, 5:49pm, 6:09pm, 6:29pm, 6:49pm) and Greenwood Drive at Greenwood Park (4:44pm, 5:04pm, 5:34pm, 5:54pm, 6:14pm, 6:34pm, 6:54pm) on the same run. Check the page for the stop ID of your boarding point.
| Way in | Where it drops you | Distance the stadium gives |
|---|---|---|
| Scheduled bus | Ogden Street bus hub | About 550m to Gate A |
| Rideshare and private drop-off | Dean Street Car Park side of Morey Street, if set up for the event | About 500m to Gate A |
| Taxi rank | Central Park side of Dean Street, if set up for the event | About 300m to Gate A |
| Charter bus drop-off (up to 22 seats) | Inside Dean Street Car Park, entered from Rooney Street | About 500m to Gate A |
| Private and charter bus parking | Central Park side of Dean Street; booking required | About 400m to Gate A |
The stadium words the rideshare zone, taxi rank and bus parking as “pending event requirements”, so none is promised for every event, and it has not confirmed them for this concert. Dean Street Carpark is also on the council’s closed list from 2pm. The stadium’s concert page now says bus parking applications are exhausted. If you cycle, there are two bike racks: the north rack near the Jonathan Thurston statue and the south rack in the plaza nearest Gate F. The stadium spells his name “Johnathan” on its page.

What can I bring in?
The stadium’s event page says no drink bottles are allowed for this event. Free drinking water is available at fountains and water stations throughout the stadium, and water is on sale at the catering outlets. That is stricter than its general conditions of entry, which allow a factory-sealed bottle up to 1.25L and an empty bottle to refill at the water stations, so follow the event rule. As of 7 November the event page says bags must be smaller than A4 and fit under your seat (on 27 October it said 40cm by 40cm), that all bags are checked, and that leaving your bag at home means faster entry. The venue is cashless. The event page lists these as prohibited, among other items:
- Drink bottles, alcohol, and commercial food and beverages.
- Camping or folding chairs, umbrellas, flag poles, posters, banners and signs.
- Professional or semi-professional cameras, recording equipment, GoPros, tablets and selfie sticks.
- Chains, fireworks or flares, musical instruments, loud hailers or whistles, and laser pens.
Under the stadium’s conditions of entry (checked 27 October) these are also not allowed:
- Glass bottles and containers, cans, aerosols and selfie sticks.
- Alcohol brought in from outside.
- All metal flag poles, and other flag poles greater than 1.5m in length and 2cm in diameter.
- Drones, skateboards, scooters and similar items.
- Hard eskies; soft eskies must fit under your seat.
Smoking and vaping are banned anywhere in the venue, and outside smoking areas are provided. The stadium also warns that the event may include flashing and strobing lights, smoke and pyrotechnics.

Who needs a ticket, and where do I stand?
The stadium says AXS is the only authorised ticket seller for this concert, while Translink’s page points to Ticketmaster for tickets, so buy only through the link on the stadium’s event page. General admission is standing, in front and rear areas, and reserved seating is seated. All patrons need a ticket, regardless of age. The stadium recommends the event for patrons aged 5 and over and says patrons aged 14 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times. It recommends the standing areas for patrons aged 15 and over, because sightlines may be affected by other people standing. It adds that the concert includes loud music and special effects over an extended period and may not suit infants and young children. The limit is 8 tickets per customer, and premium hospitality is sold out. Add your ticket to your digital wallet before you arrive.
What if I need accessible parking or a quiet space?
Accessible parking applications opened at 8am on Monday 2 November 2026, according to the stadium’s page on 27 October, which says applying does not guarantee a space. A dedicated accessible pick-up and drop-off zone is on Pride Close, closest to Gates D and E. The park and ride shuttle is accessibility friendly, with accessible parking closest to its pick-up point at Lou Litster Park. The stadium also lists accessible transfer points, a quiet room on Level 1 on the western side and a Changing Places facility near Aisle 113. Accessible tickets for this concert are sold through AXS rather than Ticketmaster, so use the AXS accessibility help for seating. For other questions, ring the stadium on (07) 4722 7729.
