Westfield Chatswood lists 14 new stores as open, according to its new stores page: four “Just Opened” and ten under “Stores now open”. It also lists Platypus Shoes as newly relocated and eight more stores as opening soon, with no dates. Westfield does not say when any store opened. Everything on this page is as of Saturday 31 October 2026.
The centre is at 1 Anderson Street, Chatswood, New South Wales 2067. Parking is free for the first three hours, and the station is a short walk down Victoria Avenue.
Which stores have just opened at Westfield Chatswood?

Westfield labels four stores “Just Opened” and one “Newly Relocated”. The level and a neighbouring store are from Westfield’s page:
| Store | What it offers | Where in the centre |
|---|---|---|
| Vanilla Jewellery & Piercing | Jewellery and piercing | Level 3, near Myer |
| Star Phones | Phones | Level 5, near JB Hi-Fi |
| Mappen | Japanese comfort food: udon, soba, ramen and Japanese hamburger steaks | Level 2, in Hawker Lane |
| OMG Station | Sanrio merchandise, anime giftware and accessories | Level 4, near Cotton On Mega |
| Platypus Shoes (relocated) | Footwear | Level 3, near Myer |
Westfield says the name Mappen comes from the Nagoya dialect of Japan and means “one more time”.
Which other new stores are open?

Ten more stores are under the heading “Stores now open!”:
| Store | What it offers | Where in the centre |
|---|---|---|
| Tokyo Lifestyle | Japanese craftsmanship and modern trends | Level 2, near Coles |
| Stack N Go | Bagels, sando sandwiches, pastries, cakes and coffee | Level 2, near Coles |
| FIFTYLAN | Bubble tea, including a Golden Bubble Milk Tea | Level 2, near Coles |
| Sew Smart Alterations | Alterations, from hemming to formal wear and bridal wear | Level 2, near Aldi |
| DJI | Drones and accessories | Level 3, near Platypus Shoes |
| Kidstuff | Toys, educational toys, gifts and novelties | Level 3, near Just Jeans |
| Original UGG Australia Classic | UGG boots, slippers and sheepskin footwear | Level 5, near JB Hi-Fi |
| HLA | Menswear | Level 5, near Black Star Pastry |
| Daiso | Daiso Japan | Level 5, near Black Star Pastry |
| Standard Products | Sister brand of Daiso Japan; Westfield calls it the brand’s second Sydney store | Level 5, inside Daiso |
Level 2 has four of the ten, Level 5 has four, and Level 3 has two. Westfield gives no opening dates for any of them, so we cannot say which opened first.
Are more stores on the way?

Yes. Westfield’s page lists eight stores under “New Stores Opening Soon”, on Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5, and gives no opening dates for them, so we have not named them here. Open the centre’s new and upcoming stores page for the full list, and check it again before you make a special trip for any one of them.

How much does parking cost at Westfield Chatswood?

Parking is free for the first three hours. The car parks read number plates, so there is no boom gate at entry and no paper ticket. If you stay longer than three hours, you pay at a pay station by entering your number plate. The rates are the same every day of the week:
| Time parked | Rate |
|---|---|
| Up to 3 hours | Free |
| 3 to 3.5 hours | $7.00 |
| 3.5 to 4 hours | $10.00 |
| 4 to 4.5 hours | $15.00 |
| 4.5 to 5 hours | $25.00 |
| 5 to 5.5 hours | $30.00 |
| 5.5 to 6 hours | $35.00 |
| 6 to 6.5 hours | $45.00 |
| 6.5 to 7 hours | $55.00 |
| 7 hours or more | $60.00 |
The maximum daily rate and the overnight fee are both $60. Westfield says all customers get free parking if they enter after 6pm and exit before 12am. Mobility permit holders get free parking by showing a valid permit at the Concierge desk.
Which car park entrance is closest to the store I want?
The main entrances are on Albert Avenue, Devonshire Street and Anderson Street. Westfield’s parking page sorts them by the stores nearby:
| Where you are going | Best parking |
|---|---|
| Coles and Aldi (fresh food) | P2 Pink level, Anderson Street car park |
| Cinemas | Rooftop parking, Albert Avenue car park |
| Myer | Level 3 (Blue) or Level 5 (Purple), Albert Avenue car park; or the Anderson Street car park (P1, P2, P3), then lifts and escalators |
| Myer and UNIQLO side | Purple car park, Albert Avenue |
Westfield does not say which car park suits each new store, so work from the neighbours in the tables.
Westfield also lists the car parks themselves: a multistorey car park and the Anderson Street underground car park, both listed with entrances on Albert Avenue, Victor Street, Anderson Street and Devonshire Street, plus the Orange, Yellow, Pink, Purple and Rooftop car parks. The Orange, Purple and Rooftop car parks are entered from Albert Avenue, and the Yellow and Pink car parks from Anderson Street. Westfield names the nearest stores for only two of them: Coles Local and Liquorland for the Pink car park, and Myer and UNIQLO for the Purple car park. For the other new stores, use the level and neighbour in the tables above and follow the signs inside the centre.
How do I get to Westfield Chatswood by train or bus?

Chatswood station is on Sydney’s North Shore line, and Westfield says the centre is a short walk down Victoria Avenue. The Chatswood bus stop is on Railway Street, with the same short walk down Victoria Avenue. Westfield gives no walking times or timetables, so check your trip in the Transport for NSW trip planner, and check for trackwork before you leave. For fares, see our guide to Opal fares and how to pay. Westfield says the best taxi and rideshare pick-up and drop-off points are on Spring Street and Anderson Street.
