Wyndham City’s Morning Melodies returns in 2027 with 11 shows at Encore Events Centre in Hoppers Crossing, starting on Tuesday 9 February with Goddess of Pop, a tribute to Cher. Each show costs $15 and includes morning tea, and runs on the second Tuesday morning of the month: doors open at 10:30am and the music starts at 11am. This guide lists every date and act the council has published as of 2 November 2026, and what the council has not yet said.
When are the 2027 Morning Melodies shows?
The council’s Morning Melodies page lists one show a month from February to December 2027. The council’s announcement of 16 October 2026 says the performances are held on the second Tuesday morning of every month, between 11am and 12noon, and that each month features a different musical genre and theme.
| Date | Show | What the council says about it |
|---|---|---|
| Tuesday 9 February 2027 | Goddess of Pop | A tribute to Cher, drawing on her Living Proof World Tour and Here We Go Again Tour |
| Tuesday 9 March 2027 | The Chuck Berry Revue | A live tribute to Chuck Berry, with Rick “Hoey” Bell named in the announcement |
| Tuesday 13 April 2027 | The Beatlez | A full-performance Beatles tribute, described as the “Australian Beatlez Tribute Show” |
| Tuesday 11 May 2027 | Air Force Big Band | The Royal Australian Air Force’s 17-piece jazz ensemble |
| Tuesday 8 June 2027 | The Karen & Olivia Show | Hits from Olivia Newton-John and Karen Carpenter, sung by Susie King and Jacqui Hamilton |
| Tuesday 13 July 2027 | At the Movies | Host Alex Kyle on entertainment and music from stage and screen |
| Tuesday 10 August 2027 | Ramble Tamble | A five-piece band playing Creedence Clearwater Revival |
| Tuesday 14 September 2027 | Piano Sing-along with Joss Russell | A relaxed sing-along built around audience requests |
| Tuesday 12 October 2027 | Totally Stonez | A Rolling Stones show band |
| Tuesday 9 November 2027 | Dolly! We Will Always Love You | A celebration of the music of Dolly Parton |
| Tuesday 14 December 2027 | A Very Matt Christmas | Christmas classics and modern holiday hits for the whole family |
All 11 dates are Tuesdays, and the council lists each one as 10:30am to 12:00pm, which covers the doors opening and the one-hour show. Melbourne is on daylight saving time (UTC+11) in February and March and again from October, and on standard time (UTC+10) from April to September, so each listed time is local Melbourne time.

How much does it cost, and what does the ticket include?
According to the council’s announcement and its event pages for the shows, each show is $15 as of 2 November 2026. The council says every ticket includes morning tea, served before the show. The announcement describes Morning Melodies as an affordable and entertaining show, and the Morning Melodies page says all tickets include morning tea.
| Item | What the council says |
|---|---|
| Price | $15 per show |
| Morning tea | Included with every ticket |
| Doors | 10:30am |
| Show | 11am to 12pm, 60 minutes |
| Age group | Listed as all ages, adults and seniors |
The council pages do not list a concession price, a series pass or a discount for booking more than one show, so $15 is the only price published. Whether the price differs for groups is not stated.
Where is Encore Events Centre, and how do I book?
The Morning Melodies page gives the address as Encore Events Centre, 80 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing, while the individual event pages say 80-82 Derrimut Road, Hoppers Crossing. Both refer to the same venue, so use the council’s booking page rather than relying on a street number. The organiser is listed as the Wyndham Cultural Centre.
Tickets are on sale now, according to the council’s announcement. Each event page carries a Book Now button, and the contact details on those pages are the box office on (03) 8734 6000 or boxoffice@wyndham.vic.gov.au. The council’s general number, listed on its website, is 1300 023 411.

Which shows are the tribute acts, and which are something different?
Most of the 2027 line-up is tribute shows: Cher, Chuck Berry, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Rolling Stones and Dolly Parton. The others are different in kind. The Air Force Big Band is a military jazz ensemble. The Karen & Olivia Show recreates songs by two singers. At the Movies is a hosted tour of music from stage and screen. The piano sing-along is built around requests from the audience, and A Very Matt Christmas is a Christmas show. The council’s announcement describes the year’s mix as classic hits, cabaret and musical tributes, featuring some of Australia’s finest touring acts and local talent.
The council says the final show of the year is A Very Matt Christmas on Tuesday 14 December 2027, and describes it as a joyful musical celebration for the whole family. The page lists the same 10:30am to 12pm session as the other shows.

How do I get there and where do I park?
The council pages for Morning Melodies do not give parking or public transport information for Encore Events Centre, and they do not name a station, bus route or car park. Do not assume the venue is a walk from Hoppers Crossing station; the council has not said so for this venue. Use the Public Transport Victoria journey planner for your trip, and ask the box office on (03) 8734 6000 about parking and access before the first show.
For comparison, the council does give a walking distance for another Hoppers Crossing event: its Movies in the Park page says Hoppers Junction is a few minutes’ walk from Hoppers Crossing Train Station. That is a different location and says nothing about Derrimut Road.

Is Morning Melodies the same as other council events?
No. Morning Melodies is a ticketed series run by the Wyndham Cultural Centre, while many other council events, such as the Australia Day celebration on Tuesday 26 January 2027, are free. Our Australia Day in Wyndham guide covers that event, which is on 26 January, two weeks before the first Morning Melodies show on 9 February.
What has the council not said yet?
As of 2 November 2026 the council pages do not cover these points:
- Seating, accessible seating and how to request it
- Parking and public transport to Encore Events Centre
- Whether tickets are limited per booking or if shows are likely to sell out
- Any menu or dietary information for the morning tea
If any of these matters to you, ask the box office before booking. We will re-check the council’s page before the first show on 9 February and update this guide if the program changes.
