Peninsula VineHop on Saturday 21 November is a one-day craft drinks festival across seven venues, and you cannot drive to six of them: the organiser says there is no parking at those venues, so you travel by VineHop shuttle, a private bus or a taxi or rideshare. The only place you can park is the Festival Hub @ The Briars in Mt Martha, and parking there is free. This guide covers the buses, parking, ticket prices and rules, using the official VineHop website read on 4 November 2026.

What is Peninsula VineHop?

VineHop describes itself as a craft drinks tour on a festival scale. The 2026 event is spread over seven Mornington Peninsula venues with more than 30 local craft drink producers offering tastings of wine, beer, cider, seltzers and spirits, plus live music, DJs and food trucks. It is an 18+ event, and the organiser says the shuttle format changed this year, so there are fewer tickets than before.

The ticket you buy decides how you get around. Every ticket includes tastings, a branded glass and lanyard, and entertainment. If you already have a VineHop glass and lanyard from an earlier year, the organiser says you can bring it and reuse it.

Can I drive and park at VineHop?

Only to one venue. The organiser says you need to travel by bus, or by taxi or rideshare, to visit the six smaller venues because there is no parking at them. If you only want to visit the Festival Hub @ The Briars, you can drive and park there for free, and the hub ticket includes car parking. The Briars also offers accessible parking for private cars or taxis.

Way to travel What the organiser says
North or South Shuttle Bus included in the ticket; hop-on, hop-off between four venues
Private bus Hired with a driver for up to 8 hours; a GA ticket is needed for everyone on board
Taxi or rideshare Allowed between venues; you need a GA ticket
Drive yourself Only to the Festival Hub @ The Briars, where parking is free
Own bus or driver (groups of 11 or fewer) The driver cannot be a patron, cannot park at any venue except The Briars, and must follow VineHop’s transport guidelines

Groups of 12 or more must use VineHop private or shuttle buses. The organiser says private buses not booked through VineHop will be turned away, even with valid tickets.

Where do the shuttle buses leave from?

The FAQs list four pick-up points that take you to the Festival Hub, where you check in to your chosen shuttle loop.

Pick-up point Address given by the organiser
Seaford Seaford North Rec Reserve, 50 Railway Parade (near Seaford Station)
Mornington Mornington Primary School, 9 Vale Street
Rosebud Olympic Park Rec Reserve, 80 Besgrove Street
Melbourne CBD Russell Street Extension, behind Federation Square (Hub Bus only)

At each of Seaford, Mornington and Rosebud, four shuttle buses leave at the same time, each heading to a different first venue. To start at the same venue as friends leaving from another town, match the bus letters: Bus A (Seaford), AA (Mornington) and AAA (Rosebud) all go to the same first venue, and B, BB and BBB go to Venue B, and so on. Once you are at your first venue, you can hop on any VineHop shuttle to continue.

What are the North and South shuttle loops?

The organiser says buses run every 10 to 15 minutes, so you can hop on when you are ready. Each loop covers three cellar doors or vineyards plus the Festival Hub @ The Briars. The 2026 timetable images, which carry the Ventura bus logo, give the order from the hub.

Loop Stops in order from the hub Venue addresses
North Festival Hub @ The Briars, Phaedrus Estate, Stumpy Gully, Devilbend Farm Beer Phaedrus Estate: 220 Mornington-Tyabb Rd, Moorooduc. Stumpy Gully: 1247 Stumpy Gully Rd, Moorooduc. Devilbend Farm Beer: 990 Stumpy Gully Rd, Tuerong
South Festival Hub @ The Briars, Mock Red Hill, Pig & Whistle Tavern, Hickinbotham of Dromana Mock Red Hill: 1103 Mornington-Flinders Rd, Red Hill. Pig and Whistle Tavern: 365 Purves Rd, Main Ridge. Hickinbotham of Dromana: 194 Nepean Hwy, Dromana

The Saturday timetable at the hub stop runs from about 10am to 7pm. In the last hours, from 5pm, the buses are colour-coded by destination: blue to Seaford, yellow to Mornington and pink to Rosebud. The timetable notes that passenger demand and traffic may affect the times and that it can change without notice, and it points to the Ventura Tracker app for live bus positions.

How much do the tickets cost?

The organiser sells tickets in releases, and the price rises with each one. The ticket page read on 4 November showed the earlier releases sold out and only the final releases left, with the counts below.

Ticket First release Second release Final release Shown on the ticket page, 4 November
Shuttle (North or South), includes GA entry and bus $146 not listed $156 Over 85% sold out (South) and over 92% sold out (North); first release sold out; final release listed as less than 10 to 50 tickets left on most pick-ups, and North from Mornington sold out
Festival Hub @ The Briars, includes parking $86 $96 $106 First and second releases sold out; final release “selling fast”
GA (access to all seven venues, no transport) $89 $99 $109 Over 88% sold out; final release less than 200 left
Hub Bus add-on (return from Seaford, Mornington, Rosebud or Melbourne CBD) $34 – – Available

The ticketing fee is 3.5% plus 70 cents per ticket (2% plus 50 cents for private buses). You can buy up to 60 GA or shuttle tickets in one transaction. Prices and availability are as shown on the VineHop site on 4 November 2026 and may have changed since.

What about a private bus or a bus from the city?

Private buses are hired with a driver for up to 8 hours and can visit any of the venues rather than following a loop. The organiser lists 11, 24 and 57-seat options, and every person on the bus needs a GA ticket. On 4 November the ticket page showed every private bus package as sold out. Group pick-up from more than one place is possible, but the 8 hours start at the first pick-up, so extra stops reduce time at venues.

For a day trip from the city, the Hub Bus runs from Melbourne CBD to The Briars for $34 and you also need a Festival Hub ticket or a “Start at a Venue” shuttle ticket for entry. Melbourne CBD passengers come back on a dedicated CBD Transfer Bus, while Seaford, Mornington and Rosebud passengers return on any North or South shuttle heading to their town.

What is allowed, and what is not?

  • Bring: your ticket, a card or cash for food and drinks, ID if you look under 25, and optionally a picnic blanket or camping chairs, and sun or wet-weather gear.
  • Food and water: you can bring snacks into all venues; each venue has food to buy and water refill stations if you bring a bottle.
  • Alcohol: no BYO alcohol, and no drinking on any VineHop bus.
  • Children: not allowed; VineHop is strictly 18+.
  • Payment: there are no ATMs, and all bars accept EFTPOS; you can also bring cash.
  • Printing: private bus passengers must bring a printed ticket; everyone else can show an e-ticket.
  • Names: group tickets show only the booking person’s name, not each attendee’s.
  • First aid: available at all venues.

The organiser says there are no refunds. If the festival is cancelled for external reasons such as government regulations, tickets are refunded automatically minus a cancellation fee set out in the ticketing terms. VineHop runs in all weather; if conditions are extreme, the organiser says it will consult authorities and post updates on the VineHop Facebook page.

What is the music and who is playing?

The hub has a three-act line-up: Andy Murphy from 11am to 2pm, Super Disco Club from 2pm to 4pm, and Eric Powell from 4pm to 7pm. The six shuttle venues have their own acts, listed on the music page.

Is VineHop accessible?

The organiser says the shuttle buses are low-floor and wheelchair accessible, and there are accessible toilets at all venues. Most areas are grassed, so the ground may be uneven. For access needs, the organiser asks you to email info@vinehopfestival.com.au, and its phone line is 1300 793 008.

Can I still get a ticket on the day?

The organiser’s answer is “maybe”. It says VineHop usually sells out, and that if tickets are available on the day you can buy them online, but tickets will not be sold at venues. If you lose your glass, you can buy an “I lost my glass” ticket on the VineHop website and show the e-ticket and your wristband to a VineHop warden.

What has not been confirmed yet?

  • Whether any tickets will be released or left for sale on the day.
  • The exact bus minutes: they are printed in the timetable images on the VineHop site, and the timetable says they can change without notice.
  • Any change in weather or conditions: the organiser says it will post updates on its Facebook page.
