Grand Diwali at Sea World is a ticketed evening on Saturday 7 November 2026, from 6pm to 11pm at Sea World on Seaworld Drive, Main Beach, with tickets at $45 and $55 on the organiser’s page as of 6 November 2026 (the City’s listing still says $39 to $55 while the organiser now marks the $39 Early Bird as sold out). Your ticket covers the rides, a parade, live shows and a fireworks finale; no annual pass is needed.
This brief uses the City of Gold Coast’s What’s On Gold Coast listing, the organiser AIEC Events’ Eventbrite ticket page and Sea World’s park information page, read between 15 and 28 October 2026. The organiser and the City do not say exactly the same things about parking, so those differences are shown below.
What is on at Grand Diwali at Sea World?
The City’s listing describes fireworks, music and a Diwali parade, drummers, cultural performances, live entertainment, DJs and a dance floor, an Indian bazaar, regional Indian food, desserts and sweet stalls, and handicrafts. The organiser’s page counts more than 20 live performances and more than 15 cultural stalls, and adds food trucks and street shows.
Rides are included in the ticket. The listing names Leviathan, Trident, Vortex, Jet Rescue, Storm Coaster, Bikini Bottom Express, Patrick’s Jellyfish Frenzy, Ninja Flyers, Boots Banana Boogie and Dora’s Fiesta, “and more”. There is also a dolphin presentation at Dolphin Beach. Henna and face painting are extras that are not included in the ticket price. The organiser says this is the second year of the event and that the 2025 night sold out; that is the organiser’s claim, which we have not checked.

How much are tickets, and what are the times?
| Item | What the sources say |
|---|---|
| Date and time | Saturday 7 November 2026, 6pm to 11pm (City and organiser) |
| Doors | 5:30pm (organiser’s ticket page) |
| Price range | $39 to $55 (City) |
| Early Bird | $39 now sold out (organiser, 6 November 2026) |
| First Release | $45 (organiser) |
| Final Release | $55 (organiser) |
| Children under 3 | Free (organiser) |
| Refunds | No refunds (organiser) |
The pages do not say which price tier is on sale today, so open the Eventbrite page to see it. The listing says the ticket includes the rides, so you do not need an annual pass. The organiser’s headline mentions a drone show with the fireworks; the City’s listing mentions fireworks only, and neither gives a start time for either.

Is parking free at Sea World on the night?
The sources differ:
| Source | What it says |
|---|---|
| Organiser’s Eventbrite page | Lists “Free parking” under Good to know |
| City of Gold Coast What’s On listing | Says parking may be limited, suggests public transport, walking or cycling, and says parking rules still apply during events; it points to the EasyPark app for metered parking |
| Sea World park information page | Says on-site parking is available for guests; it gives no fee or space count |
We cannot tell you the cost or how many spaces there are. If you want to avoid the question, use the bus or tram below. For free spaces nearby on other days, see our guide to the Main Beach free car parks, but check the signs for the night, since the City says parking rules still apply during events.

How do I get to Sea World by bus or tram?
Sea World’s park information page says route 705 runs directly to the park from Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach, with buses about every 20 minutes. By tram, it says to take the G:link to Southport station and change to route 705. Public bus facilities are at the main entry to the car park on Seaworld Drive, about 120 metres from the main park entrance, and taxis use the main entrance. Our guide to Sea World parking and getting there has more, and our G:link fares guide explains go card payment.
Neither Sea World’s page nor the City’s listing gives late-evening bus times for the 11pm finish. Check Translink’s journey planner for the return trip before you go, or call Translink on 13 12 30.

Is Sea World also open during the day on 7 November?
Sea World’s park information page lists its normal opening hours for Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 November as 10am to 5pm. The Diwali night is a separate ticketed event from 6pm; the pages do not say whether a day ticket gets you into the night, so ask Sea World on 13 33 86 if you plan to arrive earlier.

Who do I ask?
For tickets and the program, use the organiser’s Eventbrite page, which has a Contact button for AIEC Events. Sea World’s number is 13 33 86 (Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm, Saturday 8am to 5pm, Sunday 8am to 4pm). The City’s listing advises public transport, walking or cycling and points to Translink’s journey planner.
