There is no public parking at Cbus Super Stadium on event days, so for Tszyu vs Lara on Sunday 13 December the stadium’s own advice is to arrive by public transport, which is free with an event ticket on Queensland Rail trains, G:link trams and Kinetic buses. The stadium’s page for the event lists gates at 7:30am, the first fight at 8:30am, the main fight at 1:30pm and an approximate finish of 3:00pm, and says timings are subject to change.
This guide is built from the stadium’s pages and the City of Gold Coast’s parking page, all read on 7 November 2026, five weeks before the event. Translink had not yet published an event page for 13 December, so anything that depends on it is marked as not confirmed below, and we will update this page when it appears.
What is the Tszyu vs Lara event?
The stadium’s event page says the Gold Coast hosts what it calls the biggest event in Australian boxing history on 13 December. Tim Tszyu headlines against Erislandy Lara for a middleweight world title, and the page says a win would make Tszyu just the third Australian-born male to win world titles in multiple weight divisions. Queensland’s Liam Wilson fights WBA super featherweight champion Elnur Samedov on the same event, and the page says two world titles are at stake.

The event page says tickets are now on sale and are only available through Ticketmaster, and that you should download your ticket before you arrive and have the barcode ready to scan at the gate, with no screenshots. We have not found prices or a seating plan on the stadium’s page, so check Ticketmaster for those.
What time do the gates open and the event start?
The stadium’s event page lists:
| Item | Time on the stadium’s page |
|---|---|
| Event date | Sunday 13 December 2026 |
| Gates open | 7:30am |
| Start time (event start) and first fight | 8:30am |
| Main fight | 1:30pm |
| Approximate finish | 3:00pm |
| Time zone in the calendar link | Australia/Brisbane |
The page gives no running order for the fights in between, and it does not say how many bouts are on the card, so we have left those out. It says timings are subject to change, and we will check it again in the days before the event.
Can I park near Cbus Super Stadium?
No. The stadium’s Event Parking page says there is no public parking available at the stadium and that parking restrictions apply in the local area on major event days. The Getting Here page says there are parking and traffic restrictions around the stadium on event days, and that vehicles parked illegally may be fined or towed.
The City of Gold Coast says Robina Stadium (Cbus Super Stadium) is next to Robina railway station and near Robina Town Centre, and that the Robina Stadium Traffic Area is activated on event days to manage traffic flow and parking. It says a two-minute limit applies in the area on signed event days, that time limits apply on every street in the area, and that not all streets are signed, so you are responsible for checking whether you are parking inside the area. The stadium’s FAQ says on-the-spot fines are issued to offending motorists.

Residents with authorised permits can park in the local area on event days. The stadium gives the City of Gold Coast Licensing and Approval Department number for permit enquiries as (07) 5667 5987. Residents who reach their property via Stadium Drive are not eligible for a resident event parking permit and should ask the stadium for a local traffic access pass, according to the City.
How do I get there by public transport?
The stadium calls itself a public transport venue. Robina station is about 350 metres south of the stadium, with a lift for people with mobility needs, and the Robina bus interchange is next to the station. The stadium says Robina Town Centre is about 1.4 kilometres away on foot, and that bike racks are on the Eastern Plaza near Gates D and E.

Is public transport free with my ticket?
The stadium says an event ticket includes free travel on all Queensland Rail services except Airtrain, all G:link tram services and all Kinetic bus services. You must be able to show a valid event day ticket, and if you have not collected it yet, the FAQ says the Ticketmaster confirmation email works. Anyone who collects their ticket at the venue on the day is only entitled to a free return journey.
The stadium’s pages give two versions of when the free travel applies. The Getting Here page says it starts four hours before and ends with the last service of the day. The FAQ says it applies from four hours before the event starts to four hours after it ends. Translink’s event page for 13 December would settle this, and it was not published on 7 November.
Which shuttles run on event days?
The stadium lists three Park & Ride locations with free shuttle buses on major event days: Firth Park in Mudgeeraba (Somerset Drive), Burleigh Heads State School (Lower Gold Coast Highway) and the Broadbeach South G:link bus stop. It says additional shuttles may be available. Because of works on the Gold Coast Highway, the Burleigh Heads shuttle stop is temporarily at West Burleigh Road at Stanley Street (Bus Stop ID 300184), about 400 metres from the usual stop.
| Shuttle | Pick-up or drop-off points listed by Translink |
|---|---|
| Firth Park, Mudgeeraba | Firth Park park ‘n’ ride, Somerset Drive |
| Burleigh Heads State School | West Burleigh Road at Stanley Street (Stop ID 300184) |
| Broadbeach South | Broadbeach South station (Stop ID 320864), Gold Coast Highway |
| Tweed Heads shuttle | Wharf Street at Tweed Heads, Kirra shops, Tugun shops, Currumbin Bird Sanctuary, The Pines Shopping Centre, with drop-off at Robina station |
| Palm Beach shuttle | Gold Coast Highway near Sixth Avenue, near Nineteenth Avenue, at Burleigh Heads and near Mountain View Avenue at Miami, with drop-off at Robina station |
Translink’s shuttle page says shuttle services vary from event to event and that you should check your event’s own travel page before you leave home. No shuttle times for 13 December had been published, so treat the table as the list of places Translink has used for Cbus Super Stadium events rather than a promise for this one. For help planning a trip, Translink’s number is 13 12 30.

Where can I be dropped off or picked up?
The stadium says dedicated taxi and rideshare ranks are on Centreline Place. For general drop-off and pick-up, it names a designated area on the corner of Robina Town Centre Drive and Cheltenham Drive, about 500 metres from the stadium. People with a Queensland Disability Parking Permit can be dropped off between Cheltenham Drive and Promethean Way.

What access is there for people with disability?
The stadium lists 159 wheelchair positions, 211 escort seats, level walkways except for some low-angle ramps, accessible toilets in all stands and lifts in the North, South and West stands. All events accept Companion Cards. Accessible tickets can be bought from the event’s interactive seat map on Ticketmaster or through Ticketmaster’s accessible line on 1300 446 925.
On event days a limited number of free accessible parking spaces are available on Stadium Drive for holders of Australian Disability Parking Permits (purple or blue). The stadium says red Queensland Disability Parking Permits are not accepted there because of limited space, that spaces are first come, first served, and that vehicles parked in them have restricted movement from about 30 to 40 minutes before the end of an event until up to 45 minutes after. A free accessible shuttle runs from Firth Park for permit holders and others with accessibility needs, subject to capacity. The stadium also has a quiet space on the Eastern Concourse opposite Aisle 20 and takes part in the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower program.
What can I bring in?
These are the stadium’s general rules, and it says conditions can vary by event, so check the event page and your ticket closer to the day.
| Item | What the stadium says |
|---|---|
| Bags | Allowed if smaller than 40cm x 40cm x 40cm; larger bags go to free cloaking at Gate A, B or D, depending on the event |
| Food | Homemade food in a container other than glass; nothing from commercial outlets |
| Drinks | Sealed water up to 1.25L, tea or coffee in a thermos, or an empty bottle to fill at water stations; no alcohol |
| Umbrellas | Allowed but cannot be raised inside during play; a jacket or poncho is suggested |
| Cameras | No lens longer than 200mm, no video or audio recorders, tripods or monopods |
| Smoking and vaping | Not allowed inside or within 5 metres of an entry point, except in a designated area |
If you leave and come back, use the Pass Out Gates beside the main gates and keep your ticket to scan out and in. Anyone leaving with a bag has to come back through the bag check. The stadium is an open-air venue, and its FAQ says an event may be delayed in bad weather, a decision made by the event promoter.
Who do I contact?
The stadium’s phone number is (07) 5656 5500. Its FAQ says the Venue Assist line for anyone who needs help or experiences anti-social behaviour is by SMS, and gives the number on its FAQ page. For tickets, use Ticketmaster only, because the event page says tickets are only available there.
We will check the stadium’s event page and Translink for 13 December again three to five days before the event and on the morning of the day.
